This distinguished safari camp is situated under the shade of doum palms along the Galana river in Tsavo East National Park. Galdessa camp is tastefully built and is designed to blend with the environment using earthy colours and natural woods throughout - accommodation is in thatched, semi-tented bungalows on wooden platforms .
Galdessa safari camp has two distinct camps - the Main Camp and the Private Camp
Galdessa Main Camp
The Galdessa main camp is located on the southern bank of the Galana River, partially concealed by coppices of doum palms. Wildlife can be viewed from Galdessa Main camp's lounge and dining room without the need to leave camp, as the game seeks relief from the heat of the day in the cool waters of the river.
The Main Galdessa Accommodation
11 thatched and semi-tented bungalows on wooden platforms, each with an en-suite bathroom and private veranda. Natural foliage is used to conceal neighboring bandas to enhance privacy.
The main Galdessa camp features tents with traditional bucket showers, flush toilets and basins with running water.
Lounge Private Galdessa
Consisting of 3 bandas, the private camp has its own staff, dining room and lounge, can be booked on an exclusive basis, allowing your party absolute privacy and the freedom to plan your days and meals as and when you wish.
