SAFARI ITINERARY OVERVIEW:

Welcome to our 8-Day Kenya safari holiday! we will be exploring some of the most beautiful National parks in the country,starting from Nairobi and making our way to Samburu National Reserve,Aberdares National Park,Lake Nakuru National Park,and Masai Mara National Reserve before heading back to Nairobi.Our transportation will be in a comfortable 4x4 top-up open roof Toyota Land Cruiser jeep,equipped with all the necessary amenities like cooler box,binoculars,accessories,long-range high-frequency radio,sandbags,first aid kit,and safari guide books,Your safari will be guided by our experienced and professional muilt-lingual safari driver guide,ensuring that you have a safe and enjoyable experience at an affordable price.Get ready for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Kenya's wildlife!

SAFARI ITINERARY IN DETAILS:

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi (with Optional Excursion to the Giraffe Center)

Met on arrival and transferred to your Nairobi Hotel for an overnight stay. There is a pre-bookable optional excursion (additional charge) of lunch at the ever popular Carnivore Restaurant followed by a visit to the Giraffe Centre home to the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. Dinner and overnight at pre-booked safari lodge or camp.

Days 2 and 3: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

Leave Nairobi for the 6-hour drive north of the equator to Samburu where you’ll stay for 2 nights. This lowland area is home to gerenuk, crocodile, hippo, lion, cheetah and ostrich as well as the reticulated giraffe, Grévy's zebra and Somali ostrich that can only be seen in Samburu. Enjoy your game drives, with the chance of spotting all kinds of wildlife among the woodlands, ravines and grasslands. Dinner and overnight at pre-booked safari lodge or camp.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve - Aberdares National Park

After breakfast, you will leave Samburu National Reserve and drive (3 hours 30-min) to the Outspan Country Club (once home to Lord and Lady Baden-Powell) for lunch. Take an overnight bag for the night stay at Treetops in the Aberdare Forest. The remainder of the afternoon and evening is at leisure to observe animals emerging from the forest to drink at the water hole. Dinner and overnight at pre-booked safari lodge or camp.

 Day 5: Aberdares National Park - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast set off for the incredibly beautiful and striking Rift Valley Lake Nakuru, famous for its abundance of flamingo, pelicans (depending on their migratory patterns) and both black and white rhino (3 hour drive). After lunch, you have an afternoon game drive to seek out those birds and other wildlife. You will probably see giraffe, buffalo and zebra but also look out for the elusive leopard hiding in the trees! Overnight: Lake Nakuru Lodge. The lodge has a pleasant pool, so don't forget to pack your swimming suits if you want a dip before dinner. (B/L/D)

Days 6-7: Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara National Reserve

This morning head for the Masai Mara (5 hours 30-min drive) your home for the next 2 nights. After lunch, you have an afternoon game drive. Your second day includes 2 game drives and time to relax. Dinner and overnight at pre-booked safari lodge or camp.

Day 8: Masai Mara - Nairobi

Alas, your adventures are over and it is time to head back to Nairobi arriving around lunch time (4 hours 30-min drive). Subject to flight schedules, you may need to spend a night in Nairobi before flying onwards to your chosen destination. (B)
